Narrated by Pedro Pascal, “Encounters in the Milky Way” presents spectacular moments from the past and future of our solar system — including the orbits of stars, comets, interstellar debris and dazzling clouds of gas and dust. For the first time ever, discover the dramatic, ongoing merger between our galaxy and a smaller satellite galaxy, visualized in stunning detail. Interactive oneLINE Mural Walking Tour

Interactive oneLINE Mural Walking Tour
If you are looking for something NEW to do, and you want to speak directly to a Colorado native artist, come to Future Drawn oneLINE Gallery at 4420 Tennyson Street.  Artist Jonathan Applegate’s oneLINE style is special because from START to END the line will never touch, cross or intersect.  The joy the artist feels as he reveals the image is directly felt by the viewer.  It is truly special.
Over the past 7-years, we have established a special collection of interactive oneLINE murals that span the heart of Tennyson Street from 46th Ave to 39th Ave. You can begin your tour at the gallery to get a map, and then head either North or South from there. At each stop we have placed plaques with QRC links to our website where the viewer can see videos, learn about the location or history, and see local landmarks.
Each mural plaque has a length listed, which was carefully measured with an architect’s wheel for accuracy. One mural measures over 1.17 miles long, and it was completed without gridding, projection or pre-planning.  Jonathan just began. oneLINE Art You Can Feel can be experienced safely in the lobby of Berkeley Alley Company (Alley Brews).

38th Star: Colorado Becomes the Centennial State

38th Star: Colorado Becomes the Centennial State
This exhibition explores Colorado’s long road to statehood. Our first four attempts at statehood throughout the 1860s were derailed by questions like who should be allowed to vote and what policies the government should adopt. Which economic interests – mining, agriculture, ranching, railroads, or others – should receive the greatest consideration? What good was being a state, anyway? Other voices were left out entirely. Southern Coloradans found themselves in a new territory they had never asked to be in, and Native people living across Colorado were displaced from their homelands. Each attempt at statehood faced problems of politics and power as factions sought consensus in building a new state.
